2021, 16th July, Ningbo - The Seventh China ROBOTOP and Intelligent Economic Talent Summit

Many advanced achievements are showcased at the 7th China ROBOTOP and Intelligent Economic Talents Summit in Ningbo, in east China's Zhejiang Province. More than 250 robotic products from 61 enterprises were on display to show the latest achievements in intelligent manufacturing at the event.


AQUILA Health and Ningbu Yuyao District People's Government signed a strategic cooperation agreement for an International SMART Rehabilitation Hospital.

2021, 17th May, Chengdu - WANDA UPMC International Hospital

Michael visited Charles Liu, WANDA's MEP manager, at the WANDA UPMC International Hospital construction site. Both knew each other well from their work at the Hainan UNICARE International Hospital in Haikou and exchanged their latest project experiences.

2021, 30th March, Guangzhou - Zengcheng Session of the 2021 Seventh Guangzhou Annual Investment Conference

As a window to showcase the country's high-quality development and achievements of Guangzhou's reform and opening-up, the 7th Guangzhou Annual Investment Conference  offers a vital platform for China and the outside world to deepen cooperation and boost investment, said the local officials.


AQUILA Health and Zengcheng District People's Government, Guangzhou  signed a strategic cooperation agreement for an International Rehabilitation Hospital.

2021, January, Vienna - AQUILIA Office at VAMED HQ

Michael has been representing AQUILIA Health as Chief Architect in China since September 2020. In January 2021 he worked with the medical and commercial project teams of AQUILIA in Vienna.

2020, 14th November, Changsha - The 6th China Private Enterprises Cooperation Conference

The 6th China Private Enterprise Cooperation Conference was held in Changsha, Hunan province. More than 1,000 experts, scholars, private entrepreneurs and government representatives gathered seek further private enterprises development through joint efforts.


AQUILA Health and GREENLAND Changsha signed a strategic cooperation agreement for the GREENLAND Meixi Lake International Hospital.

2020, 21st July, Hemer - Lungs Hospital Hemer

Michael visited the Technical Director Mr. Terfloth in the Lungs Clinic Hemer. From 1999 to 2005 Michael worked at Erling + Partner in several projects at the Clinic for Pneumology and Thoracic Surgery. Therefore, he was interested in catching up on the latest developments in construction.

2020, January to March, Abu Dhabi - REEM Hospital VAMED Construction Site Office

Michael was invited from January to March 2020 to support the VAMED site management team on the REEM hospital construction site. From February 2017 to January 2019 he was CSA manager at VAMED in Abu Dhabi.

The 2nd China Hospital Internet of Things Conference kicked off in Wuxi, Jiangsu province on Nov 23.  The three-day event, which is one of the biggest and most high-profile events related to medical applications of internet of things (IoT) technology, consisted of one main summit, the Belt and Road Initiative international summit, 21 sub-forums, and one exhibition. 


Michael was  invited to give a speech about "AI & BIM-Based Design & Systems in International Hospital Projects".

TECHBUILD International Construction Summit is an international forum, gathering owners, engineers, designers and technology practitioners from global AEC industry.  The 4th TECHBUILD International Summit on Building Science and Technology was held in Hefei from November 21 to 23, 2019.

Michael was invited to give a speech about "OpenBIM-Based Hospital Projects Experience".

The Chinese Hospital Association Architecture Branch held its annual meeting in Shanghai from 11th to 13th October. This year's topic was the use of artificial intelligence in hospital projects.


Michael was invited to give a speech about "AI-Based Hospital Projects".

ShanghaiBIM is a non-profit open organization aiming to offer a free platform for BIMers to exchange and share ideas, it started in Oct 2012 and presently continues to this day. As a buildingSMART interest forum, ShanghaiBIM stimulates the use of OpenBIM, Interoperability, and open-source information exchanges. Until now, ShanghaiBIM has gathered over 3,100members around all of China.,

Michael was invited to give a lecture about "OpenBIM-Based Hospital Projects Experience".
